I've never really minded getting older, until all the sudden I'm faced with the reality that I am now in my last year if my twenties. There is something freeing about your twenties. You're allowed to make mistakes. You're allowed to be carefree. Something about turning thirty seems so adult. So this last year in my twenties I'm going to live it up!!!
My birthday was perfecto! I told Mitch I wasted a family day- and a family day is just what I got!
Mitch and Baby E then took me to the Mansion at Turtle Creek for Brunch!
{Thanks Travelzoo for the special!}

The dessert bar was so good!!! |
Lump crab + Bacon & onion roll |
I ordered brisket eggs benedict and Mitch ordered salmon and quinoa. We honestly could only take a couple of bites of everything and came home with a ton left over! |
My sweet baby! |
My "Wolfpack" |
He said "Hi!" to every person that walked through the door! Mitch was so funny and said Son, your not running for office!! Lol! |
I LOVE ascetics! The Mansion is gorgeous! Black and white floors and the most fabulous staircase! |
In the afternoon we went on a walk
Mitch and baby E took me on a sunset sail + picnic! It was so relaxing and fun!
Fun fact, I grew up going to summer camp for 3 weeks every year- for 3 of those years I took sailing specialty and actually know how to sail! It was fun using the old lingo! "Jive ho!" |
What I wore: White linen pants: J Crew Blue Top: J Crew Earrings: Forever 21 |
We had Eatzi for dinner which is one of our fav's! |
If Y'all decided to go sailing contact Matt at Sail Dallas and tell him the Stack's sent ya!
The day was perfect! My heart was full! I can't wait to see what this year has in store for me!
As I prayed over my 29th year I felt a tug that this will be a year of service. I'm not sure what all that will entail but I will try to serve along the way. In everyday life.
"Do small things with great love."
