After quite the break from blogging, I'm back!
Life has changed so much since I've last been on here.
We have moved into our new home, I worked on the production team for the Mark &Estel show at New York Fashion Week, found out we are expecting baby #2, and so much more.
I will try to blog soon about our life updates!
April 4, 2015 we celebrated Eli's 2nd birthday by throwing a Peter Rabbit themed party.
I chose Easter weekend so we could incorporate some fun Easter activities as well!
I had so many fun ideas but thought this is his last baby party
and next year he may have an opinion on the theme!
(I was dreaming in baby blue and pinstripes!).

So as most of you know last year we had Eli's Camping themed party
(which you can see here) at the park.
Well since that was quite the adventure in setting up morning of the party I decided to have a home birthday party this year thinking it would be easier... wrong.
I don't know if it was just the sheer exhaustion of the 1st trimester + having just worked New York Fashion Week + just moving into a new home but I was definitely more exhausted this year pulling Eli's party together this year.

Thank you to Mitch for patiently helping me for a month crafting, printing all the paper goods to keep cost down, drinking 35 Starbucks cappuccinos to I could use the cute glass bottles for the babies (LOL) , setting up, tearing down and being the wonderful husband and daddy you are! Thank you to my Nana for making most the food, helping me craft, letting me sleep, and cleaning up my whole house after the party! Thank you to my sister-in-law, Molly, for making the beautiful carrot cupcakes and delicious cinnamon rolls. Thanks to my mother-in-law for making the yummy sausage balls and to my brother, Ryan, for picking up the catered food from Market Street. Thank you to Megan for making the cute bird's nest! Thank you Uncle Marshall and Uncle John for helping set up, building, and hiding all the Easter eggs for the hunt!
Thank you to Aunt Jana for volunteering to be the Easter Bunny and for playing the character so well (I swear I tried to hire someone!!! Lol).
Thank you to my dad and Ashley for chasing Eli and being so considerate and helpful as I was consumed setting up the party!
It truly takes a village and I am so appreciative of mine!
Lastly, thank you to all our family and friends near and far who came to celebrate Eli, sent gifts and cards (they poured in for weeks!), the phone calls, the FaceTime chats and for loving my sweet baby Eli so fiercely!
He certainly felt loved by so so many!
Eli, you are the light in many lives!
Your tenacity and spunk for life is vibrant!
Your calling is vast.
You will certainly change the world for the best!
xoxo,
Lauren
