Macy's Day Parade Party

Our sweet Caroline Carlisle turned THREE in November
and her mama went all out for this one!
I had a bike parade when I turned 4 and remember
it being so fun so we played off that and I came up with
"CC's Day Parade"!
I may have gone a tad over the top but CC's first birthday was so rushed as we were in such a busy season with some big life events + a family wedding and her second was small since we had a 2 month old baby so I wasn't going to let another birthday pass without a big ole celebration!
From concept to execution this is by far my favorite event I've ever done!

We love hosting events at Stonebriar Country Club as it kinda just
feels like home for us. We adore the staff and the event coordinator,
Justin Lopez, has become a sweet friend + totally gets me! We love to
brainstorm together and take things right over the top!
We decided on a pipe and drape entry with ballon tie backs + props
from Stumps Party Supply which is my go to since its affordable and
takes everything to the next level!
We did all sequin linens from CV Linens which is our absolute favorite
linen company (I personally own gold, blush and red since I love them
so much!).
My darling friend, Jenn Lyons, owns Filled With Joy and she custom
made our Welcome sign (and does all our paper goods like thank you
tags, invitations, 'About Me' signs) and also helped me with getting
all the "Parade Floats" aka balloons I ordered off amazon.com (you can
 filled + set up perfectly!

Now our first stop for guests was coffee + cocoa in Central Perk {a
nod to Friends, duh} where we brought in vintage furniture, rugs +
hedge wall from Beautiful Events Rentals.
We had statue of liberty hats, photo props, and gold balloons to tie
everything together and keep guests entertained until
 "CC's DayParade"!

Now for the parade, I called up an old friend (Hi Morgan!) who happens
to be the former cheer coach at Eli's school and asked to hire the
cheer captains!
Then I called our friend Paul from B3 Entertainment who we have worked
with for years and told him we needed a unicyclist, drummer, and
specifically a ballerina stilt walker per the birthday girls request!
I ordered the float kit from Stump Party Supply and our sweet daddy
and uncles  spent hours building our girl the perfect pink float!
Lastly, we added a horse and carriage ride since we had lots of
friends coming from the same company we have used every single
Christmas since we moved to DFW Northstar Carriage (Note: they have
the prettiest rides through Highland Park + Deerfield at
Christmastime).

After "CC's Day Parade" we came inside and opened the doors into
Central Park with a walk through into the main ballroom.
We had Serendipity Frozen Hot Chocolate's waiting to be served as
guests walked in to Central Park.

In the main balloroom we set up perfectly pink tables with the most
precious pink chivari chairs from Bleu Luxury Rentals whom we just
adore!
My bestie and florist from our flower shop Patina + Peonies brought
my vision to life with lots of greenery + sweet pink flowers in white
pumpkins!
The plates + napkins I ordered from Meri Meri and the tiny taxi cabs +
thank you tags were custom made by Filled With Joy.
The favor is one of my favorite details! I wanted to tie in the "Big
Apple" so we asked sweet Nikki with Sweets on a Stick to make caramel
apples for all the kiddos and she even added pink chocolate which
coordinated perfectly (she also made the cute cake pops)!

Now on to the dessert table!
For the balloons we went with EZ Party Time (IG: @EZPartyTime) and
loved the pops of gold!
Cake + cupcakes are by my neighbor + friend, Mary, owner of Better Batter Cakes.
Cookies are by Sift and Stir Bake Shop.

For the adult tables we wanted something more sophisticated so we went

with navy pin tucked linens,  a gold sequin runner to tie the room

together, gold shiver chairs and all white flowers with lots of green

in white pumpkins!

Now the food stations, we started brain storming our favorite "New
York" foods and Justin suggested 4 stations with a giant "Big Apple"

ice sculpture in the middle and Dean, the sculptor,  made it just

perfect!

We decided on 4 stations- "The Waldorf", "Carnage Deli", "New York

Pizza" and a Chinese station complete with chop sticks + fortune

cookies!

We had the time our of lives celebrating my girl!

Oh, and then we took her to the real Macy's Day Parade!!

Caroline Carlisle, you, my girl, have a heart of pure gold!
You're funny + silly, complimentary + kind to your core!

You love with all your heart and know how to make every person feel

seen and loved.

You light up every room + give the worlds best hugs!

You keep us on our toes with your wild antics but, you know, I wouldn't

have it any other way!

You are a daughter of the King most High and are the answer to our prayer!
I know you will be a confident leader + your strong will!
You are a world changer!
I love you with every single part of who I am, Ceec!
I will always be your #1 fan!
-Mommy
